"BACK BONE:
Photographing people from behind, people waiting, in
revery, in boredom, in fear… I interrogate the
silence and intimacy of their space. This way, from
behind, they invite us to take their place, to move
from a viewer to a player in this introspection of the
other.
CLIFFS:
These photographs of cliffs with a rugged relief witness
their durability: breaks, gashes and other scarifications
have sculpted the appearance of this rock through the
centuries like this man with sunken features who echoes
time working on us… This stone seems hard, waterproof
and static, yet it lives, breathes and conveys thin
filaments of water it transports as it grows bigger,
like our ventricle a breath.
