It is an acknowledged fact that on top of the hills there are peculiar places to which special powers are ascribed.
Can a spiritual experience provoke some kind of levitation – the elevation of the soul and body? An intimate self-knowledge creates some transcendental experience. Such a form of levitation, exceptional within a landscape, refers to many themes proper to sacred representations and to classical painting.
